I've noticed that my last entry on this blog was back in 2015 when I left for Kuala Lumpur to start working in a contact centre for a bank in Singapore. I was so preoccupied during those times that I was unable to track down how my year went whilst working overseas. Sure, I went home in the PH once every three months but I guess the feeling of being homesick every night have stricken me so bad that I decided to just call it quits and come back home. I'll prolly make random posts of my happy and not-so-happy experiences about working abroad some other time. I hope I'll be able to though because I have so many entries here that are way long overdue. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
So anyway, on my count I've been permanently back for 9 months now and I was able to get re-hired by my first company, HSBC. Not the same building where it was 7 years ago but still the same name and logo that's for sure. It's cute how 1 or 2 of the pantry Ate (servers) still remembers me from the old building. They got transferred too, I guess. My means of travel is from Laguna to Alabang and the van drivers in our subdivision have also been very nice ever since. Some I have actually known since college and are very understanding that I never sit on the farthest back or else I'll have an episode of a panic attack. This whole scene all feels like 2010 to me all over again. I get to come home to my Pop's yummy dishes and Mama's never-ending alaga. I've proven that one thing is for sure, no matter where life leads me... I'll always keep on coming back to this, wherein I'm the only child whom they've given all their time and effort eversince birth. No matter how old or stubborn I get nor how small or big amount I give... I will always have a home with these two. Aww.
Time check it's 3:22am and sleep have finally arrived to visit. I'm looking forward to getting back on this whole blogging thing again. I have so much things to say and yet so little time. Hey, good night. - A
